For more than 50 years, Pearly’s Famous Country Cooking has been serving up some of the finest Southern cooking Albany has to offer. You can always expect great food and Southern hospitality when you walk through the doors. Pearly’s is best known for its famous breakfast meals, which can be ordered at any time. Pearly’s owner and namesake, Carey “Pearly” Gates, can be found most days at the restaurant welcoming and encouraging employees. He and his family have owned and operated the restaurant since 1962. “We can’t control how somebody comes in, but we are directly responsible for how they leave; happy and satisfied.” Located at 814 N. Slappey Blvd., Pearly’s is open Monday – Friday 5:45 a.m. – 2 p.m. and on Saturday 5:45 a.m .- noon.
