Congratulations to Dougherty County Department of Family and Children Services, this week’s Albany Area Chamber Star Business. As a part of the Georgia Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS) investigates reports of child abuse. Through their Social Service division, they provide child protective services, foster care and adoptions. Their Resource Development assist finding and developing foster and adoptive homes. DFCS works to protect and enhance the well-being of individuals and families across the state. Providing services that enhance the capacities and help strengthen families.
