Turner Job Corps has been in Albany since 1978, and is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16-24 improve the quality of their lives through vocational and academic training. Turner Job Corps is dedicated to developing the whole person and achieves that through a variety of Center classes and workshops. Turner Job Corps has been a member of the Albany Area Chamber since 1978. “The Chamber provides us with a wealth of opportunities to network and make Albany a great place to live.  Turner Job Corps staff serve on the Chamber’s Education Committee, Small Business Resource Committee and serve as Ambassadors.  We are active participants in the Business After Hours and Business Expo and other events organized by the Chamber.”
