Star Business of the Week: Theatre Albany

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes Theatre Albany as this week’s Star Business of the Week. Theatre Albany is one of only 6,000 community theatres remaining in the United States, making it a rare and valuable cultural institution for Albany. This season promises an incredible lineup of performances, beginning with 9 to 5: The Musical, a high-energy show filled with laughs and memorable tunes. During the holidays, A Christmas Carol brings a classic story to life for audiences of all ages. Cinderella: Youth Edition offers a magical and fresh twist on the beloved fairy tale, while See How They Run delivers a British comedy packed with quirky characters and nonstop laughter. The season concludes with the powerful and moving musical, The Color Purple. Season tickets are available for just $75, providing access to all performances and an opportunity to support live theatre in our community. Beyond its productions, Theatre Albany is committed to fostering local talent, engaging audiences through arts education, and providing a welcoming space for residents and visitors alike.
