Star Business of the Week: Open Arms

Founded in 1991 in response to a Grand Jury’s call to combat child abuse, Open Arms has grown into a vital organization dedicated to bringing healing, hope, and help to children, youth, and families in need.

Through programs like The Bridge, a shelter providing safety and essential care for victims of abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Open Arms ensures that those in crisis have a place to turn. Over the years, their impact has expanded to include multiple sheltering programs such as a Maternity Group Home, Transitional Living Program, Scattered-Site Apartments, and an Emergency Shelter for unaccompanied youth and families. They also offer outreach services and Rapid Rehousing to further support long-term stability.

Open Arms continues to make a meaningful difference by providing critical resources, intervention, and prevention services for those facing some of life’s most difficult challenges.
