Jones Welding & Industrial Supplies Celebrates 50 Years of Service During National Welding Month

Albany, GA — Jones Welding & Industrial Supplies, Inc., one of the largest independently owned welding and industrial distributors in Georgia, is proud to celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a community open house on Thursday, April 2, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at its Albany headquarters.

The celebration comes at a meaningful time, as April is recognized as National Welding Month by the American Welding Society, highlighting the critical role welding plays in infrastructure, manufacturing, and workforce development across the country.

A special 50th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Mayoral Proclamation will take place at 11:00 AM in partnership with the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce.

Originally founded in 1976 as M&O Welding Supply, the company was taken over in 1984 by Larry and Sheila Jones, laying the foundation for what would become Jones Welding & Industrial Supplies. From its roots as a single-location operation in Albany, the company has grown into a regional leader with 14 locations serving customers across the tri-state area of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. While the company has expanded significantly over the past five decades, its commitment to service, expertise, and strong customer relationships has remained unchanged.

The open house will feature:

• Over 20 vendor representatives on-site

• Live product demonstrations

• Customer giveaways and prize drawings throughout the day

• A customer appreciation lunch
