The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes Hughey & Neuman Real Estate as this week’s Star Business of the Week!
Founded in 1954 by George W. Hughey, Jr. and Carl Neuman, Hughey & Neuman has built a legacy of serving Albany’s real estate needs for more than 70 years. What began as a home repair and remodeling business has grown into a family-owned and operated company specializing in residential and commercial properties, investment opportunities, and land sales.
Today, that legacy continues through the Hughey family’s third generation. Bill and Sharon Hughey’s daughters, Katie Hughey Gatewood and Callie Hughey Walker, joined the business after college and became co-owners in 2014. Alongside Bill, Sharon, and longtime team member Leslie McClure, they continue to bring experience, dedication, and a personal touch to their work in real estate.
With deep roots in Albany and a passion for the people and businesses that make this community special, Hughey & Neuman remains committed to helping individuals and businesses throughout Albany and Southwest Georgia with their real estate needs.
