Family Literacy Connection

Congratulations to Family Literacy Connection, this week’s Albany Area Chamber Star Business. Family Literacy Connection helps disadvantaged families gain stability, self-sufficiency, and success through a cluster of educational programs that target the whole family. Their vision is for families and children in Dougherty County to live in safe, stable, successful homes. Families are encouraged to engage in the community by supporting education, faith-based initiative, civic organizations and economic growth. Goals include: Healthy children, School readiness, School success, Self-sufficient families and strong communities.
