Star Business of the Week: Lily Pad SANE Center

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce proudly honors the Lily Pad as this week’s Star Business of the Week, Their mission-driven service is vital to our region. Established in 2001, Lily Pad provides 24/7 crisis response and support for victims of sexual assault and child abuse across the Albany Area. The organization offers trauma-informed forensic medical evaluations, evidence collection, advocacy, and follow-up services – always at no cost to the survivor. As a regional hub, Lily Pad houses several critical programs, including the SANE Center, Firefly House Children’s Advocacy Center, and the System of Care. Their team works closely with law enforcement, medical providers, and legal systems to ensure that victims receive comprehensive, compassionate care. Lily Pad’s staff are dedicated professionals who put the needs of survivors and their families first, creating a safe space for healing and justice. Their work exemplifies the power of community-centered care and the importance of supporting the most vulnerable among us. From prevention to intervention, Lily Pad’s impact resonates far beyond the walls of their center.
