Join us for A Night Under the Stars: A Titan Alumni Legacy Gala on Friday, September 12th, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. This
elegant evening will celebrate outstanding Albany Technical College alumni who are making a difference in their fields.
Held in an intimate setting with 20 beautifully decorated tables and a 200-person capacity, guests will enjoy a sit-down
dinner and the opportunity to participate in a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will directly support student
scholarships.
Invest in Excellence: Support the Albany Tech Foundation 2024-2025 Foundation/College Highlights
• The Foundation awarded $94,087.21 in scholarship funds to ATC students.
• The Foundation contributed $20,208.75 to nonprofits within the community.
• The ATC Nursing program relocated to the new $50 million Phoebe Living & Learning Community as a result of a collaboration between the college and Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
• 34 students from various academic disciplines competed in the SkillsUSA Georgia Competition held in Atlanta, Georgia; 3 students earned Gold Medals, 5 students achieved Silver Medals, and two received a Bronze Medal.
• A partnership was established with the Department of Defense (DoD) through the SkillBridge program to provide military personnel with hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills, supporting their transition from active service to civilian careers.
• Sariyah Wright was named the 2024 Dual Enrollment Student of the Year.
• Antony Bohler was recognized as the 2024 Dual Achievement Program Student of the Year.
• Alex Daniel was the 2024 Alumni of the Year and will be celebrated at the upcoming Legacy Gala.
• ATC Faculty, Staff and students volunteered with five organizations in the community as a part of the Foundation’s Community
Service Day Initiative.
• Albany Technical College opened the Dr. Anthony O. Parker Transportation Academy on May 5, 2025, honoring his legacy with a state-of-the-art facility for automotive collision and diesel technology training.
The generosity of donors makes it possible for the Foundation to support the college’s Mission, provide scholarships, and stay connected with the community through sponsorships.
