Phoebe Putney Health System is inviting the community to come together for the Ribbon Walk, an event dedicated to honoring, celebrating, and remembering those affected by cancer. The walk will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, beginning at 9 a.m. at Meredyth Place.
The Ribbon Walk is a one-mile community event designed to bring people together in support of cancer awareness and survivorship. Participants are encouraged to walk in honor of loved ones, celebrate survivors, and remember those lost to cancer. Attendees may show their support by wearing specific cancer ribbon colors that represent different types of cancer, creating a powerful visual display of unity and hope.
“This event is an opportunity for our community to stand together in support of those touched by cancer. Whether you are a survivor, caregiver, family member, or friend, the Ribbon Walk offers a space to connect, reflect, and celebrate strength and resilience,” said Keisa Mansfield, Community Outreach Manager for the Phoebe Cancer Center.
Following the walk, participants are invited to enjoy a variety of entertainment, food, and celebratory activities for all ages.
Registration for the Ribbon Walk is free and open to the public, making it easy for individuals, families, and groups to participate.
