Albany Area Art Council

 Congratulations to the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce Star Business of the Week, Albany Area Art Council! The Albany Area Arts Council, Incorporated in 1976, works as a community cultural partner with the City of Albany. They maintain and operate the City’s  historic Carnegie Library as a home for the Arts Council by utilize the space as a fine arts gallery for local and regional artists, meeting space for local community and cultural groups, and public rental space for special events. Additionally, the Albany Area Arts Council is a public relations agency, endeavoring to aid collaboration and communication among existing arts and cultural agencies in the City of Albany. Nicole Williams, Executive Director explains, “The Albany Area Arts Council works to unite our community through the Arts and Humanities.
