The Pecan City Pedalers (PCP) is a nonprofit cycling club that started in 1981. PCP promotes the sport of cycling in the Albany Area and provides an opportunity for all cyclists to share in its enthusiasm for good health, camaraderie and a desire to learn more about safe cycling. The club also holds one of Albany’s biggest cycling events, the Nut Roll, which brings more than 300 cyclists from across the Southeast to Albany. The Pecan City Pedalers have been a member of the Albany Area Chamber since 2008. “Chamber membership gives our group the opportunity to promote our events though the Chamber website and networking events. Membership also gives us the opportunity promote bicycle advocacy to cyclists and motorists.”
