Congratulations to the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce Star Business of the Week, SOWEGA Council on Aging! SOWEGA Council on Aging has been open for 50 years, serving seniors 60+ with information on programs, services, information and resources for individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers. SOWEGA Council on Aging has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce since 1987. Izzie Sadler, Executive Director explains, “We are a non-profit agency designated as an Area Agency on Aging. We work with the Division of Aging Services, Department of Human Services, and our local communities to provide programs and services according to the needs of the elderly and disabled in the southwest Georgia region.”
